How to Throw Javelin: Short Approach Development

This is a basic 5-step short approach development for the javelin throw. Step onto the apron, take a big step as far away from the foul line as possible. Then count a one two three four five step (tempo is key) with the coach marking the fifth step. Measure the distance from the foul line and this is your 5-step approach.
