Shot Put: Full Rotational Throw
The full rotational throw in the shot put focuses on rhythm and timing throughout the circle. Move from slow to fast shifting the weight from right to left out of the back. Keep the left arm up and long, facing the left shot put sector as the athlete runs across the ring. An active right foot and good posture in the middle of the circle is essential for a rotational shot put thrower.
