Hurdle Lead Leg Development: Wall Hurdle Drill
This is a basic hurdle wall drill with a right leg lead. Teach all hurdlers to use both legs in all drills. The athlete will step over the knock down hurdle in front, leaning in and leading with the knee. The knocked down hurdle can be replaced with a box or trash can, promotes leading with the knee while keeping the foot directly underneath. The athlete should lean into the wall.
