Hurdle Training: One Step Drills
The one step drill with a right leg lead is a good beginning to teach 400 hurdlers to hurdle with the non-dominant leg. The athlete should focus on having quick hands over the top of the hurdle, actively pushing the lead leg down, while pulling the trail leg through.

The hurdle one step drills is a great teaching progression in teaching the lead leg and trail leg together in a seamless smooth motion. Focus on having quick hands over the top of the hurdle, which promotes actively pushing down the lead leg, while pulling the trail leg through.
