Shot Put: A Frame Pull Under Drill
The A frame pull under drill teaches glide shot put throwers to roll off the heel in the back of the ring. Notice the athlete should be in a seated position, sitting down and back. Then pushing off their ball of the foot, rolling off of the heal. After the athlete feels this position the thrower pulls the right foot underneath them creating a proper power position.
